How Do I Receive God's Free Gift of Eternal Life?

Understand that God loves you!
Just ponder on that amazing thought. The very God of the Bible loves you! No matter your background, history, life, education, or status, Jesus loves you! Not only that, but the Lord Jesus gave his life on the cross for you! He endured the agony, humiliation, and pain on the cross for you and me.
Why would Jesus do that? It is because the Bible says in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." In short, we are sinners and God's Word says that the wages or the penalty of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Death was our penalty as sinners. It was the type of death
that would completely separate us from God in a fiery place called Hell.
What can I do to escape such a place?
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Salvation or eternal life is a free gift of God. The only requirement for eternal life is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, believing that He is able to give you his free gift when you invite Christ into your heart.
How do I invite Christ into my life?
The Bible says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Have you ever prayed to God and invited the Lord Jesus to come into your heart, knowing that He loves you, that He died to pay your sin debt, that His gift of eternal life is free, and that all is required for his free gift is faith? Believe on the Lord Jesus today!
